Despite rigorous screenings to ensure the health of both bulls and human participants, the event proved challenging. A mighty white bull attracted particular attention with its stubborn resistance. The crowd, including international spectators, was treated to displays of human and animal prowess set against a backdrop of excitement and danger.
Inaugurated by State Minister P Moorthi, the event was secured by over 2,200 police personnel. The tournament, part of a series with subsequent events in Palamedu and Alanganallur, saw digital innovations like a scoreboard. Winners are poised to receive grand prizes as the sporting spirit captured the vibrant atmosphere of Pongal celebration.
