Punjabi film actress Mandy Takhar has officially parted ways with her husband, Shekhar Kaushal, after being granted a mutual consent divorce by the family court at Saket, Delhi. The court's decision came following the approval of the couple's first motion plea, filed amicably and in mutual agreement.

The divorce proceedings were conducted at the Saket District Court, where both parties presented their cases in a joint plea, leading to the acceptance of their application by the authorities. Advocate Ishaan Mukherjee, representing Takhar, stated that the court had approved the initial divorce motion but emphasized that settlement terms remain confidential.

Mandy Takhar, renowned in Indian cinema, particularly in the Punjabi sector, tied the knot with gym trainer and CEO Shekhar Kaushal in a ceremony honoring Hindu and Sikh traditions on February 13, 2024. However, less than a year later, the couple resolved to separate with dignity through a mutual and discreet process. (ANI)
