This significant influx marks a year-on-year rise of 15%, underscoring Sri Lanka's growing appeal as a travel destination. The UK followed as the second-largest market, providing 21,277 tourists.
Despite monthly fluctuations, Indian arrivals maintained an impressive average of over 23%, peaking in December. Overall, Europe and the Asia Pacific dominated the figures, comprising 92.7% of total arrivals, affirming Sri Lanka's status as a prominent winter sun destination.
