Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi called on the nation's youth to play a pivotal role in building a 'Viksit Bharat' by using a cinema metaphor during his recent address. He likened the youth to the actors and directors who will lead the nation forward in its journey to becoming a developed country by 2047.
Addressing NCC cadets, Tripathi emphasized the virtues of hard work and moral courage through references to Roger Federer and the valorous deeds of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. He argued that individual brilliance alone cannot succeed, advocating instead for self-discipline and teamwork.
Highlighting that youth make up 65% of the Indian population, Tripathi stated that they must rise above personal gains. He urged them to adopt a mindset focused on collective growth, aligning their personal success with the nation's advancement.
