In a keynote address during the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the CMR Institute of Technology, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan articulated India's aspiration to become the world's most powerful nation by 2047. Emphasizing that this pursuit is not about domination but ensuring India's sovereignty, Radhakrishnan highlighted the importance of innovative initiatives such as Digital India and Make in India in fostering a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Radhakrishnan underscored the dual challenge and opportunity posed by the evolving global landscape, citing climate change, cybersecurity, and equitable technology access as areas requiring focused attention. He urged Indian institutions, along with students, to adapt to swift technological advancements and be prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. The Vice President stressed ethical, creative, and resilient attributes as crucial for students navigating this AI-driven world.

Addressing the students as valuable national assets, Radhakrishnan cautioned against the perils of drug abuse and the misuse of social media, advocating for a balanced approach that upholds tradition while embracing modern advancements. He affirmed the compatibility of tradition with modern growth, urging a harmonious balance that strengthens India's global presence without sacrificing cultural roots. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot also attended the event.
