The Banjara Hills Police have confirmed the registration of an FIR under the Information Technology Act and initiated an investigation into the incident.
According to the complaint, the actor alleged that the offending individual posted obscene and defamatory remarks about her, leading to emotional distress and public humiliation. Rebba highlighted that the language used in the comment was deeply disturbing, derogatory, and amounted to mental harassment.
Eesha Rebba emphasized that this incident was not an isolated one, as similar abusive comments frequently appear online. She requested authorities to take immediate action against the misuse of digital platforms for harassment and to ensure accountability. Meanwhile, Rebba, known for her role in 'Om Shanti Shanti Shanthi', remains committed to cooperating fully with the investigation.
