As 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain: Fun On The Run' gears up for its theatrical debut on Friday, actor Shubhangi Atre unveils a memorable challenge from the film—maneuvering an ageing Ambassador car through Mussoorie's winding roads. The film transports the hit sitcom 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain' from TV to movie theaters nationwide.
Loved for its quick-witted comedy and situational humor, Atre’s account offers a glimpse into the movie's comical adventures. Atre recalled the demanding task of driving a 'very old' yellow Ambassador, unsuited for the mountainous terrain. She noted its inadequate brakes, adding it was 'interesting' to manage such a vehicle on the shoot.
To prioritize safety, several practice drives were arranged around the hotel premises, affirming Atre’s competence with the vintage car. Directed by Shashank Bali, the film continues the comedic rivalry between Vibhuti Narayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari while introducing intriguing new dynamics. Starring Vidisha Srivastava as Anita Bhabhi, the film teases special appearances by Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari, and Dinesh Lal Yadav.
