Mirzapur Season 2 confirmed by Ali Fazal, Amazon Video yet to officially confirm

After the successful running of Mirzapur Season 1, fans are passionately looking forward to the updates on Mirzapur Season 2. Fortunately, the second season of Indian crime thriller web television series has been confirmed by Ali Fazal, who played in the first season with Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Amit Sial, Divyendu Sharma to name a few.

Although Amazon Video hasn’t yet officially confirmed Mirzapur Season 2, the statement of Fast & Furious 7 actor Ali Fazal is no less than an official confirmation. Even one of the executive producers, Farhan Akhtar has also said that the showmakers have already commenced working on another season.

During a recent success party of Mirzapur, Farhan Akhtar accompanied by Pankaj Tripathi, Anangsha Biswas, RIcha Tripathi, Rasika Dugal etc. communicated with the media in Mumbai. On the other hand, Ali Fazal threw some hints saying that Mirzapur Season 2 is likely to be premiered in early 2019.

“I have some film commitments to finish both here and abroad and yeah, then after that we will begin,” he added.
