The Bachelor SA (The Bachelor South Africa) was premiered on Valentine's Day with a strategic intention to lure mainly the young audiences. The South African version is based on the American dating and relationship reality television series The Bachelor.
The Bachelor SA Season 1 racked up over 93,478 viewers. The avid viewers are quite passionate to see the dashing bachelor entrepreneur and philanthropist Lee Thompson meeting the 24 women selected out of thousands of entries that surprisingly included the killed Reeva Steenkamp's former best friend Gina Myers, Channel 24 reported. Lee Thompson has laid his heart on the line with a hope that he will find his true love here.
