Tragic Firecracker Mishap Claims Teen's Life During Vishu
A 15-year-old boy, Adwaith A K, was killed during Vishu celebrations in Koyilandy after a firecracker accident. He was attempting to create a louder sound by placing a firecracker under a steel container when it exploded, resulting in fatal injuries. The police are investigating the incident.

A tragic accident during Vishu celebrations in Koyilandy resulted in the death of a 15-year-old boy, police reported on Wednesday. The victim, Adwaith A K, was involved in a firecracker mishap at a temple ground in Korayangad.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 4 pm when Adwaith placed a firecracker under a steel container, hoping to amplify the sound. Unfortunately, the explosion sent a fragment of the container into his neck, causing severe injuries from which he later died at a hospital.
Adwaith, a Class 10 student, reportedly attempted the risky act after viewing similar stunts on YouTube. The police have registered a case and are actively investigating. Following the postmortem, his body will be released to his family on Thursday.
