New docuseries ‘Diana: The Unheard Truth’ will unveil five hours of unheard audio recordings of Princess Diana. Covertly recorded in 1991, these tapes detail Diana's life in the royal family and ambitions. Full access is now granted for this groundbreaking documentary set to launch in August 2027.
Princess Diana's voice is set to echo once more through a new docuseries titled 'Diana: The Unheard Truth,' scheduled to launch on August 31, 2027. As reported by Variety, this three-part series will unveil five hours of previously unheard audio recordings made in 1991 and present insights into her personal and royal life.
The tapes, recorded by Dr. James Colthurst, a close confidant of Diana, were secretly removed from Kensington Palace and shared with author Andrew Morton. Morton's consequential biography, 'Diana Her True Story,' shifted the public perception of the royal family. Though only a portion of these recordings has been public prior, this series promises to explore Diana's unfiltered thoughts.
The series, produced by Love Monday TV in collaboration with Andrew Morton and James Colthurst, revisits the pivotal creation of Morton's book. Contributors include figures from Diana's life such as her former hairdresser, astrologer, and close acquaintances, shedding light on the immense scrutiny she faced. The series is spearheaded by a talented production team, with funding from Rainmaker Films and Plymouth Films.
