Bihar CM Celebrates Buddha Purnima at Sacred Mahabodhi Temple

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary marked Buddha Purnima by visiting the Mahabodhi Temple in Gaya, launching the book 'Prajna', and promoting Lord Buddha's teachings. He was accompanied by notable figures and highlighted the significance of the eightfold path in fostering a harmonious life and a developed Bihar.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary commemorated Buddha Purnima by visiting the UNESCO-listed Mahabodhi Temple in Gaya on Friday. This temple is one of Buddhism's holiest pilgrimage points, marking the site of Lord Buddha's enlightenment.

During his visit, Choudhary performed rituals and prayers at the Mahabodhi Temple, accompanied by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and BJP MLA Prem Kumar. He also launched a book titled 'Prajna', meaning 'wisdom' in Sanskrit, aimed at spreading Lord Buddha's teachings.

The chief minister extended his religious tour to the Vishnupad Temple and Buddha Smriti Park, urging the public to follow Buddha's eightfold path for a balanced and meaningful life and contribute to a peaceful and developed Bihar.
