Kedarnath Temple: A Divine Journey Through Rain and Snow

Over three lakh pilgrims have braved harsh weather to visit the Kedarnath temple since April 22. Despite heavy rain and snowfall, devotees lined up in long queues for 'darshan' of Lord Shiva, supported by local police ensuring order amid unpredictable weather conditions.

Despite challenging weather conditions, the Kedarnath temple has seen an influx of over three lakh pilgrims since its portals were opened on April 22. Bad weather, including heavy rain and snowfall, didn't deter devotees.

The holy site, located at an altitude of 11,000 feet in the upper Garhwal Himalayas, experienced cloudy skies and precipitation on Monday. Yet, devotees formed long queues hoping to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.

Local authorities, including Rudraprayag police, aided the crowd's movement, advising pilgrims to carry warm clothing and essential medicines due to the adverse conditions.
