BTS Triumphs Again at the 2026 American Music Awards

K-pop sensation BTS clinched the Artist of the Year award at the 2026 American Music Awards among three trophies in Las Vegas. The band, formed in 2010, is currently on their 'Arirang' World Tour, their first since a hiatus due to military service obligations, set to conclude in 2027.

Renowned K-pop ensemble BTS has emerged victorious once more, receiving the Artist of the Year accolade at the 2026 American Music Awards held in Las Vegas. The seven-member group, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, secured three awards in total, marking another significant achievement in their illustrious career.

This win represents the second time the popular band has been presented with the prestigious Artist of the Year title, with the first instance occurring in 2021. Aside from this honor, BTS was also recognized for their hit 'Swim' as the Song of the Summer and was awarded Best Male K-Pop Artist.

Formed by Bang Si-hyuk and debuting under Big Hit Entertainment in 2013, BTS is celebrated globally for their dynamic hits including 'Mikrokosmos,' 'Butter,' and 'Mic Drop.' Currently, they are thrilling audiences worldwide with their 'Arirang' World Tour, spanning over 70 stops across major continents and concluding in the Philippines in March 2027. This tour marks their return to the stage following a break attributed to mandatory military service from 2022 to 2025.
