On Tuesday, Telangana's Women and Child Welfare Minister, D Anasuya Seethakka, unveiled a significant institution, 'Sakhi Nivas', a government-backed hostel for working women.
Located in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills, the facility aims to offer affordable and safe housing solutions for rural women migrating to the city for jobs.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Congress MP Anil Kumar Yadav and MLA Danam Nagender. Seethakka underscored the hostel's provisions for young mothers, signaling a commitment to holistic care. Additionally, she spotlighted the government's expanded support for Self Help Groups by raising interest-free loan limits and encouraging entrepreneurial ventures.
