Mr South Africa finalists highly ridiculed over Twitter after its announcement

Mr South Africa organization finally took to Twitter to release Top 20 finalists on April 25. The collage with pictures of the 2019 finalists is certainly aimed to show what South Africa has the best to offer to the nation and world.

However, Mr South Africa organization has received huge criticism for the picture's poor quality and lots of fans and followers ridiculed the finalists' looks with some people comparing a few of them with criminals.

"We look at our contestants' integrity before we judge their appearance," one tweet from Mr South Africa organization reads. It also says in another reply that 'the pageant was not about stereotypes'. "Our contestants are real people, not photoshopped, perfect models," it tweeted.

One fan also laughed questioned if those were the sexiest men in the country. The account's admin in reply said, "Hang on, we never said you need to be Sexy to be Mr SA. All we ask is dedication to a better SA and a good heart. If that's not good enough for our country then we don't know what else to give you."

One fan directly commented over Twitter that 'he first thought it (the list of finalists) was a picture of inmates somewhere in prison.' Unable to take the ridicule anymore, the Mr South Africa Twitter account ended removing the picture of the men.
