Sacred Games Season 2 spoilers: Why was Jojo killed? Trivedi’s fate to be revealed

After Sacred Games Season 2 got a green signal Phantom Films and Netflix last year, fans are passionate to know more about the updates in the production and mainly the premiere date. The show is not only popular in India, fans across the world also love this web television thriller series based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel of the same name.

It seems fans will have to wait too long to see what happens to Saif Ali Khan’s famous role, Inspector Sartaj Singh in Sacred Games Season 2. As far as the release or premiere date for the second season is concerned, multiple media outlets are making out their possible guess based on the updates from the production. Hence, it’s better to avoid any date to mention like other media outlets.

As far as the plot for Sacred Games Season 2 is concerned, the spoilers suggest that the imminent instalment will revolve around Pankaj Tripathi’s renowned character Khanna Guru Ji, who was briefly observed in Sacred Games Season 1. Labelled by the gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), Khanna Guru Ji as his third father. Gaitonde is a notorious crime lord who has been missing for around 16 years.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Pankaj Tripathi said that his character is a larger-than-life part and will become the most sought-after character in the upcoming series. “My character becomes as big as Ganesh Gaitonde,” the 42-year actor added.

On the other hand, Season 2 of Sacred Games is also expected to shed light on the causes behind Gaitonde’s decision to brutally murder Jojo Mascarenas (Surveen Chawla), who was a talent manager in the film industry. Even the imminent instalment is likely to disclose the fate of Trevedi (Chittaranjan Tripathy).

During the interview, Pankaj Tripathi didn’t reveal much on the plot. “As an actor, I can't talk in detail about the show. I've been asked not to. But yes, I can definitely say that the scale of the show is huge this time. The writing is fantastic and the show will be very interesting,” he added.

As far as the episodes for second season is concerned, many believe that it may have eight episodes like the previous season. In the next season, Jatin Sarna’s character, Deepak Shinde aka Bunty is on a wheelchair. Even, Kubra Sait and Jitendra Joshi will also reprise their roles as Kukoo and Constable Katekar respectively.
