Prison Break Season 6 to give serious twists, why Season 7 can be made in future
Prison Break Season 6 is undeniably one of the most anticipated drama series of 2019. One more reason behind it is the completion of Season 5 that left viewers in suspense. It has been over two years since Season 5 dropped its finale but its demand and excitement (surrounding the making of Season 6) is quite high among avid fans.
Prison Break Season 6 is still under production and filming of the series is going on currently. Thus, the series' creators have strictly asked the team to not leak any piece of information, mainly about the plot. Thanks to Michael Thorn, President of Fox Entertainment who saved fans’ interest by almost giving a confirmation of the making of one more season. Even we are indebted to Dominic Purcell (who played the role of Lincoln Burrows in the last five seasons), who took to Instagram in February this year to give a small update on the making of Season 6. “It’s in development that’s all I got for you. #chill” he wrote on Instagram. It was an absolute confirmation and fans were quite overjoyed to have that update.
The official plot for Prison Break Season 6 is yet to be revealed. But many, starting from actors to producers and series’ creators, have hinted from time to time in many occasions what the viewers can get to see in the upcoming season. The matter of rewinding to the very first frames was earlier teased by the series’ creator, Paul Scheuring over Twitter. Thus, it is believed that the viewers will be taken back to the beginning and get some serious twists in the imminent season. If that’s the case, then there must be a compulsion to work on Season 7.
Even The Last Ship actress Inbar Levi, who was seen in Season 5 of Prison Break, is set to reprise her role as Sheba. On the other hand, returning of William Fichtner in Season 6 as Alexander Mahone is highly possible as he played 59 episodes between Season 2 and Season 4. He was not present in Season 5. Many fans have placed their request to insert his character in Season 6. Even according to Wentworth Miller (who played the role of Michael Scofield in the previous seasons) once said that Season 6 would largely revolve around making the new generation as palatable as possible for the viewers.
Prison Break Season 6 may not currently have an official release date, but many believe it will be premiered anytime in 2020. Stay tuned to Devdiscourse to get the latest updates on the television series.
