Criminal Minds Season 15 is going to end the series. Thus fans have big hopes from the imminent season. In some of our previous articles on it, we revealed what the viewers can see in the upcoming last season. Here we will highlight some of those facts that are still relevant including the premiere date including the synopses of first two episodes.
Criminal Minds Season 15 episode 1 is titled ‘Under The Skin’. The synopsis of episode 1, according to Cartermatt, states – The BAU team investigates an UnSub with striking similarities to Rossi’s latest obsession, “The Chameleon”, aka Everett Lynch Michael Mosley, who nearly killed him and then disappeared.
Criminal Minds Season 15 episode 2 is titled ‘Awakenings’. The episode 2 states – With a member of the BAU in the hospital, the team searches for Everett Lynch (Michael Mosley), and his daughter, Grace (Alex Jennings). Also, Spencer has a meaningful visit with his mother, Diana Reid (Jane Lynch), while she’s experiencing a period of lucidity.
In Criminal Minds Season 15, Jane Lynch will be back in the similar character Diana Reid (the mother of Dr Spencer Reid). She suffered from schizophrenia and was committed to a mental institution. In Season 12, she was abducted and she was saved by the BAU. The mother and son had an emotion reunion after that incident. “I see a happy ending in store for Reid, which is something that we’re all looking forward to, including with his mom,” Matthew Gray Gubler (who plays the role of Dr Spencer Reid) told Parade.
The epic long-running series will return with only 10 episodes in the last season, thus fans are worried how lots of thing will be tied up in such less number of episodes. The imminent season will center around tracking down The Chameleon. “Rossi will be concluding the 10 episodes with a showdown with (The Chameleon),” the showrunner Erica Messer said to Deadline.
On the other hand, Criminal Minds Season 15 will bring back the old heroes and villains for the last time. “We have one in the works right now who’s a very memorable villain, but I don’t want to say too much if it doesn’t work out with casting ... I am very hopeful that we can honor all of those characters who have been beloved and with this team, with the audience for years, but I don’t know what that’s going to look like,” Erica Messer said.
The final episode of the last season is titled ‘And In The End...’. In the last episode fans will be surprised to see Spencer having a new love interest. Frozen in Love actress Rachael Leigh Cook will guest star as Max in the final season, who will be the love interest to Dr Reid.
