Three drown in reservoir in Rajasthan

Three men drowned while bathing in a reservoir in Rajasthan's Karauli district, police said on Wednesday. The deceased have been identified as Keshav Gurjar (19), Balkrishna Gurjar (20) and Shyam Singh Gurjar (21), natives of Karauli's Alipura village, they said.
The three men had gone to take a bath in the reservoir in Alipura on Tuesday and drowned one after the other, Station House Officer (SHO), Karauli Sadar police station, Vijay Singh said. They were preparing for Army recruitment and used to go for a run every morning, he said.
When the trio did not return home on Tuesday morning, their families looked for them in the reservoir near Bhopur river. Their bodies were found on Wednesday morning, he added. The bodies were fished out and handed over to the families of the deceased after post-mortem, the police said.
The family members did not inform police about the incident and no case has been registered in the matter so far, they said..
