Two girls drown in village pond in Odisha

Two minor girls, aged around nine years, drowned today while taking bath in a pond in Odisha's Balasore district, a police officer said. Their bodies were found floating in the pond at Chakulia village in Remuna police station area of the district around noon, he said. The villagers retrieved the bodies and informed police about the matter, the officer said.
