Maha: 135 new cases, Amravati COVID-19 count now 2,598

The number of COVID-19cases in Amravati rose by 135, including a record 80 in rural areas, to take the district's infection count to 2,598 on Tuesday, an official said.

A total of 83 people were discharged, taking the number of such cases to 1,830, leaving Amravati with 698active ones, he added.
