Man was killed near Narayanpur village in UP

A 38-year-old man was killed near Narayanpur village with a sharp-edged weapon, police said Saturday.

Mukesh Mishra was killed Friday night and his throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon, SHO Mohanganj Dhirendra Kumar Singh said.

The SHO said the cause of the death would be known only after post-mortem.

SP Anurag Arya accompanied by Additional SP BC Dubey and Circle Officer (Musafirkhana) SP Singh visited the spot and issued directions for quick action.
