FBIL sets rupee reference rate at 72.7549 against US dollar

Mumbai, Sep 12 (PTI) The Financial Benchmarks India private limited (FBIL) today fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 72.7549 against the US dollar and 84.3244 for the euro.
The corresponding rates were 72.3227 and 84.0771, yesterday.
According to an FBIL statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were 94.6211 and 65.22 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
