UK business minister: We need to ensure Thames Water survives

British business and trade minister Kemi Badenoch stressed the need to ensure Thames Water's survival on Wednesday, as concerns over the future of country's largest water utility mounted.

"We need to make sure that Thames Water as an entity survives," she said in an interview broadcast by Sky News.

"My colleagues across government are looking at what we can do."
