MRPL wins GeM Star Buyer award

The Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has been selected by Government e-Market as winner in the 'GeM Star Buyers' category at the Kreta-Vikreta Gaurav Samman Samaroh.

T M Pai, GGM (Materials), MRPL, received the award at Vanijya Bhavan, New Delhi on June 26, from Union Minister of Textiles, Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, who felicitated the awardees, a release from MRPL said here on Friday.

The event was organised to celebrate GeM's vision of a transparent, inclusive and efficient public procurement landscape in India.

During the financial year 2022-23, MRPL has displayed exemplary commitment towards enhancing the credibility of public procurement procedures by consistently relying on GeM to conduct business in the national public procurement market, the release said.
