Earlier, the minor girl died of suspected food poisoning on Monday, hours after consuming food at a restaurant near Paramathi Velur in Namakkal district. Her body was later sent to Namakkal Medical College Hospital for postmortem. Following the incident, the sale of shawarma in hotels across Namakkal district has been temporarily banned, health department officials said. (ANI)
