A 27-year-old man was found dead after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle in the Nand Nagri area of North-East Delhi, said police. According to Delhi police, "The incident took place around 5:49 on the road opposite the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Nand Nagri area of the city."
"The body of the deceased was found on the road opposite ITI, Nand Nagri. It is a case of hit and run. No public witness was found at the spot," said police. Police said the identity of the deceased is being ascertained and that the body has been shifted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTB).
"We have registered a case in the matter under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code. The offending vehicle and driver are being identified," police added. Further investigation into the matter is underway. (ANI)
