New requirements for traders of certain commodities to submit information on shipments will not change customs clearance or impact trade, He Yadong, spokesman of the commerce ministry said on Thursday.
China's Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday said it would require traders of crude oil, iron ore, copper concentrate and potash, which are subject to import licences, to submit real-time information on shipments as part of efforts to stabilise trade.
