Britain aims to check benefit claimants' accounts in data law change

Britain on Thursday proposed amendments to its data protection bill, including allowing regular checks on benefit claimants' bank accounts to help identify fraud and a requirement on social media companies to keep relevant personal data of children's accounts for use in inquests in cases of suicide.
