IMF completes first review of Pakistan's economic reform program

The executive board of the International Monetary Fund completed its first review of Pakistan's economic reform programme supported by an IMF Stand By Arrangement(SBA) on Thursday, the finance ministry said in a post on social media platform X.

The completion of the first review allows for an immediate disbursement of SDR 528 million (around $700 million) bringing the total disbursements under the SBA to $1.9 billion, the Ministry added.
