Chinese local governments should prevent property market volatility, ministry says

Local governments in China should promote balance between supply and demand in the real estate market, China's Ministry of Housing and Urban and Rural Development said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

All cities should accurately study and judge housing demand, improve housing supply and prevent major ups and downs in the property market, the statement said.
