Delhi Police have launched an investigation following the defacement of public property with inflammatory posters in the South Avenue area, said officials. A case has been registered at the South Avenue Police Station under the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act.

According to the police, on April 27, some posters with religious and inflammatory content were seen by the patrolling police officer. The incident came to light when patrolling officers observed religious and inflammatory posters pasted on the walls of the MP Flats located on South Avenue.

The discovery was made at around 11.30 am on April 27, prompting the officers to file a report and register a case. (ANI)
