Ukraine's Bold Energy Recovery Plan: Building 5 GW Gas-Fired Generation

Ukraine is set to construct one gigawatt of gas-fired energy generation this year and an additional four gigawatts in the future. Zelenskiy said Russia's bombardments had knocked out 9 GW of Ukrainian generating capacity since Moscow intensified its air strikes in March. He said Ukraine's consumption was at about 18 GW last winter.
