The auction included 21 blocks, with 11 fresh opportunities.

Maiki South Mining Pvt Ltd has secured the country's first lithium block located in Chhattisgarh, the government revealed on Monday.

This landmark achievement was made during the fourth round of auctions for critical and strategic minerals, with the block awarded at an auction premium of 76.05 per cent.

Union Minister of Coal and Mines, G Kishan Reddy, announced the launch, highlighting that 21 blocks are up for sale, including fresh blocks in states like Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Karnataka.
