During the public address, Chief Minister Sukhu announced that the Bhanjal solar power project, to be completed within eight months by the H.P. He highlighted the dedicated effort towards renewable energy with Una district poised to generate 47 MW, including the completed 32 MW Pekhubela solar project and ongoing 10 MW Kutlehar project.
In a bid to protect the state's climate, the government has set a target to make Himachal Pradesh green by March 31, 2026. The state has allocated Rs 300 crore for purchasing electric buses and aims to fully transition HRTC's fleet to electric.
