China and Saudi Arabia: Strengthening Economic Ties
China is eager to enhance its development strategies with Saudi Arabia, focusing on intensifying trade and investment. Commerce Minister Wang Wentao discussed deepening cooperation in infrastructure, energy resources, and digital economy, welcoming Saudi companies like Aramco to expand their presence in China.

China has expressed its eagerness to strengthen the implementation of development strategies and intensify trade and investment exchanges with Saudi Arabia, according to Commerce Minister Wang Wentao's statement on Friday.
During talks held on Thursday with the Saudi Arabian head of economic cooperation affairs, who also serves as the president of the Saudi Public Investment Fund and chairman of Saudi Aramco, Minister Wang emphasized China's readiness to deepen cooperation in various sectors including infrastructure, energy, green development, and digital economy.
Minister Wang welcomed Saudi companies, particularly its sovereign wealth funds and Aramco, to continue and expand their operations within China, signaling a robust commitment to bilateral economic growth.
