Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami Sets October 15 Deadline for Sanay Dham Construction Completion

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed officials to complete the Sanay Dham construction by October 15 within the Rs 94 crore budget. Dhami emphasized the importance of construction quality and urged the continuous monitoring of the project to avoid delays. The CM also discussed measures to support the families of martyred soldiers.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday directed officials to ensure the completion of the Sanay Dham construction by October 15. The project, estimated at Rs 94 crore, is to be executed without compromising on quality.

During a high-level committee meeting at the Secretariat, CM Dhami instructed the Minister of Sainik Welfare to continuously oversee the construction, emphasizing that no further delays should occur. He proposed an increase in financial assistance for the dependents of martyred soldiers and immediate employment for them. Dhami also directed labeling roads and schools near the martyrs' villages with their names.

CM Dhami tasked the District Magistrate of Dehradun with resolving land disputes to ensure timely construction. He stated that the Military Dham would symbolize the state's respect for soldiers and would inspire the youth. It was also decided to lift the ban on construction within 500 meters of the Military Dham.
