A Comorian-flagged oil tanker capsized 25 nautical miles southeast of Oman's Ras Madrakah, Omani state news agency ONA reported on Monday, citing Oman's Maritime Security Centre. The centre said a search-and-rescue operation was activated in coordination with authorities.
The cause of the incident was not immediately known.
