Major Reshuffle in NITI Aayog: New Ministers Appointed in Modi 3.0 Government

In a significant reshuffle, the NITI Aayog has been reconstituted with the inclusion of new ministers from the Modi 3.0 government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue to serve as the chairperson, with no changes to the posts of Vice Chairman and full-time members.
Notable appointments include Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the new ex officio member. Meanwhile, Minister of Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda and Minister of Heavy Industries HD Kumaraswamy have been designated as Special Invitees. Other Special Invitees are Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi, Fishries, Animal Husbandary and Dairying Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Civil Aviation Minister KR Naidu, and Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan.
The revised composition approved by PM Modi also brings in Kumaraswamy (JD-S), Manjhi (Hindustan Awam Morcha-S), Rajiv Ranjan Singh (JD-U), and Paswan (LJP-Ram Vilas), who are allies in the NDA government. The ex-officio members include Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
