Tragic Double Suicide: Couple Killed by Trains in Rajasthan

A tragic incident occurred in Rajasthan's Churu district where a man, Babulal Regar, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train shortly after his wife, Santosh Regar, was fatally hit by another train. The couple reportedly had an argument before leaving their home that day.

A tragic sequence of events unfolded in Rajasthan's Churu district as a man took his own life by jumping in front of a train, following the death of his wife, who was hit by a different train. The incident was confirmed by Rajaldesar SHO Geeta Rani.

The couple, identified as Babulal Regar (50) and his wife Santosh Regar (43), residents of ward 23, had an argument on Friday morning before heading out. Santosh proceeded to the Rajaldesar platform nearby, where she was struck and killed by a train, according to Rani.

Upon hearing the news of his wife's death, Babulal reacted by leaping in front of another train, resulting in his own death. The bodies of the couple were subsequently handed over to their relatives following a postmortem examination, the SHO confirmed.
