Adani Green Energy has reported an impressive nearly 95% rise in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 629 crore for the June quarter. This significant growth was primarily due to higher revenues as the company pushes forward on its ambitious projects.
According to a BSE filing, Adani Green Energy's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 323 crore for the same quarter last year. Total income for the recent quarter increased to Rs 3,122 crore from Rs 2,550 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
CEO Amit Singh stated that the company is on track to meet its 2030 target of achieving 50 GW capacity, including at least 5 GW energy storage. The company has expanded its operational capacity by 31%, adding significant greenfield projects.
