Accountability Demanded in Coaching Centre Tragedy

Following the tragic deaths of three civil service aspirants at a coaching center in Rajender Nagar, the bereaved families are demanding accountability. Dharmendra Yadav, the uncle of one of the victims, Shreya Yadav, insists that the owner of the coaching institute be charged with culpable homicide. Expressing his grief, he noted that he was not informed about his niece's death by the coaching institute or the administration.

Yadav stated he learned about Shreya's passing through news reports and was denied access to view her body at the mortuary. Speaking to ANI, he said, “I received no official information from either the coaching institute or the administration. I had to approach them myself after seeing the news. When I requested to identify her body at the mortuary, they refused, citing it as a police matter. They only showed me a paper with her name on it.”

The Delhi Police have arrested both the owner and coordinator of the IAS coaching center, where three students tragically lost their lives after the basement flooded. A senior police officer confirmed that a case has been registered against the coaching institute, the building management, and those responsible for the drain maintenance. Further investigations are underway.
