Early Morning Blaze Injures Six in Delhi’s INA Market
A fire erupted in Delhi's INA market, injuring six people. The blaze, which started at Kerala Restaurant, near the INA Metro Station, was contained by seven firefighting vehicles. Two victims are at AIIMS, while four are at Safdarjung Hospital. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Six people sustained injuries after a fire broke out early Monday morning at fast-food restaurants in Delhi's INA market. The incident occurred at the Kerala Restaurant, located at shop number 211 near INA Metro Station's gate 2, at around 3:18 a.m.
According to a Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official, the fire started at Kerala Restaurant and spread to two adjacent Chinese fast food shops (No.213 and 214). Of the injured, two were rushed to AIIMS while four were taken to Safdarjung Hospital by police. Seven firefighting vehicles were dispatched to contain the blaze, which has since been extinguished.
The injured individuals have been identified as Sunil (46), Ashki Nepali (26), Arun (18), Shiva (26), Shiv Kumar (24), and Girish (42). The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Manoj Mehlawat, Station Training Officer (STO) for the Delhi Fire Service, informed ANI that commercial cylinders stored in the restaurant could have triggered a major tragedy.
