Rajasthan's Power Surge: Minister Heeralal Nagar Unveils Electrifying Future

Minister of State for Energy Heeralal Nagar announced that Rajasthan has signed agreements with central undertakings to become self-reliant in electricity. Nagar highlighted the state’s improved power situation and criticized the previous government’s mismanagement. By 2027, the state aims to provide day-time electricity to farmers and issue 1.5 lakh solar power connections.

Minister of State for Energy Heeralal Nagar announced a significant milestone for Rajasthan, revealing that the government has signed agreements with central undertakings to achieve self-reliance in electricity.

Speaking in the Rajasthan assembly, Nagar assured that this strategic move aims to eliminate any future power shortages in the state. He criticized the previous government’s handling of power generation, transmission, and distribution, attributing past crises to their mismanagement.

He emphasized that power cuts have decreased this year and projected that by 2027, daytime electricity will be provided to farmers. Additionally, the government has set a target to issue 1.5 lakh agricultural power connections linked to solar power.
