Tragic Family Incident in Bhopal: Man Kills Sister, Commits Suicide Over Mother's Death

In a tragic incident in Bhopal, a 45-year-old man, despondent over his mother's death, allegedly killed his elder disabled sister before taking his own life on Saturday, according to local police.

A suicide note purportedly written by Pankaj Malviya revealed that he no longer wished to live without his mother, stated Kolar police station in-charge Ashutosh Upadhyay.

Police found Malviya hanging from the ceiling fan of their Kolar Road residence, while his 53-year-old sister, Sunita, was discovered dead in the kitchen with a noose around her neck. Both bodies were discovered by their father. Authorities believe Pankaj killed his sister before committing suicide, having struggled with depression since his mother's death last month. An investigation is currently underway.
