AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal has accused the BJP Central leadership of conspiring to destabilize the Congress-led coalition government in Karnataka. During a crucial meeting with Karnataka Congress leaders, Venugopal declared their intent to fight against BJP's alleged disruptive strategies.

He claimed that the previous Congress-led JDS-Congress coalition was toppled by BJP conspiracies and warned of similar tactics being employed to undermine the present government. 'They are targeting our elected government,' Venugopal stated, urging ministers and legislators to visit their constituencies and inform the public about the benefits of the government's guarantee schemes for the poor.

Highlighting the achievements under Siddaramaiah's leadership, Venugopal accused BJP and JD(S) of framing issues to protect their interests. He cited the Prajwal Revanna case as evidence of these conspiracies and criticized the governor for allegedly fostering instability under BJP influence. The Congress party, he emphasized, would strive to counter these efforts and defend the government's stability and public service commitments.
