ICICI Prudential Simplifies Claim Process for Wayanad Landslide Victims
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has streamlined the claim settlement process for those affected by the Wayanad landslide. The beneficiaries need to submit only three essential documents: bank details, death certificate or governmental list of deceased, and valid KYC. This initiative aims to expedite claim processing for the tragedy's victims.
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has taken a significant step to ease the claim settlement process for nominees and beneficiaries of individuals affected by the Wayanad landslide tragedy.
According to the insurer's statement on Monday, the claim processing, including coverage under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), will now require just three essential documents. Beneficiaries must submit bank account details, a death certificate issued by local municipal authorities or an official list of deceased from hospitals or government authorities, and valid KYC documents such as PAN card or Aadhaar card.
Amish Banker, Chief Operations Officer of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, emphasized that all claims resulting from this natural calamity will be swiftly settled based on these three basic documents. The Wayanad landslides in Kerala last week resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries.
