CM Yadav Invites HAL to Establish Branch in Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the HAL headquarters in Bengaluru, proposing the establishment of an aerospace and defence development unit in Madhya Pradesh. During his two-day visit, he explored investment opportunities and learned about the aircraft manufacturing process at HAL.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) headquarters in Bengaluru on Wednesday and extended an invitation for HAL to establish a branch in Madhya Pradesh. Yadav's visit was part of a two-day interactive session focused on investment opportunities in the state, held in Bengaluru on August 7 and August 8.

During his visit, CM Yadav explored the construction and working methods of aircraft and helicopters manufactured by HAL. He proposed that HAL set up an aerospace and defence development unit in Madhya Pradesh, assuring that the state government would provide all necessary facilities, including land and streamlined procedures through a single-window system. A nodal officer would be appointed to facilitate the establishment process.

Yadav inspected the assembly and equipping processes of HAL, gaining insights into the manufacturing stages of LCA aircraft. He also boarded the Tejas aircraft and Dhruv helicopter to understand their features and functionality, expressing pride in HAL's contributions to India's defence sector through indigenous technology. He lauded HAL for strengthening the Indian Navy with its products and commended its role in advancing indigenous military and aircraft development.
