Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held a Janata Darshan at his residence on Thursday, marking the third such event where citizens could present their grievances directly to the CM. Among the attendees were a significant number of differently-abled individuals, highlighting the inclusive nature of the initiative.
Komal Lahre, accompanied by his wife Gauri Lahre, both differently-abled, attended the program to seek financial assistance. 'We are both disabled and survive by begging. We have two sons, and today we have come to the Chief Minister's Jan Darshan to seek help. We want financial support so that our children can grow up to become IAS or IPS officers,' Komal shared. His wife echoed his sentiments, expressing their desire for a better future for their children despite their own challenges.
Sukh Sagar Kevat, another differently-abled attendee from Janjgir-Champa, requested a tricycle from the CM. 'We are here today to ask the Chief Minister for a tricycle. In the previous Jan Darshan program, the Chief Minister had provided tricycles to some differently-abled people, and we hope to receive the same assistance,' he said.
The Janata Darshan program continues to serve as a vital platform for citizens to directly communicate their issues to the Chief Minister, who has shown a commitment to addressing their concerns. Earlier this month, a similar event was held by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur, further emphasizing the importance of such engagements.
During the 'Janata Darshan', the Chief Minister listened patiently to a range of issues presented by the citizens, forwarding their letters to the concerned authorities and issuing necessary directions for their speedy and satisfactory resolution. He assured everyone that no injustice would be done under his tenure.
